What Else Do You Need to Take With You for Airsoft?
If you’ve got your eye protection and basic clothing sorted, you’re off to a good start. But what else should you pack for a smooth day on the field? Here’s a checklist to make sure you’re prepared.
1. Extra Ammo
Bring more BBs than you think you’ll need. Running out mid-game is frustrating, and most players use 1,000–2,000 BBs in a day.
2. Spare Magazines
Reloading during a firefight is easier if you have extra mags. Mid-caps or high-caps—whatever suits your play style.
3. Speed Loader
A must-have for quick magazine refills between games.
4. Water & Snacks
Airsoft can be physically demanding. Stay hydrated and keep your energy up with snacks like protein bars.
5. Batteries & Gas
If you’re using an AEG, bring a spare battery. For gas-powered guns, extra gas or CO₂ is essential.
6. Tools & Maintenance Gear
A small toolkit, cleaning rod, and silicone oil can save the day if your gun jams or needs a quick fix.
7. Comfortable Footwear
Good boots or sturdy trainers with ankle support are vital for uneven terrain.
8. Gloves & Face Protection
Protect your hands and teeth—these are common pain points for beginners.
9. A Bag or Backpack
To carry all your gear, ammo, and personal items easily.
10. A Positive Attitude
Airsoft is about fun and teamwork. Be ready to play fair and enjoy the experience.
